The Health Weekend is back for a 2nd year!

Quite a boost for the Fondation Médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d’en-Haut thanks to the Centre Nautique Pierre Plouffe in Mont-Tremblant.

Aware of the importance of having quality care in the region, Pierre Plouffe is organizing two days of fundraising to support the Fondation Médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d’en-Haut and the Fondation du CHU de Québec on September 2 and 3.

Lovers of water sports (canoe, kayak, pedal boat, pontoon, etc.) can practice their choice of water-based activity on Lac Tremblant at a very attractive rate. More than $25,000 was raised last year. “We hope to hit $35,000 this year with the event taking place over two days,” explains Mr. Plouffe.

Distinguished visitors

Many distinguished guests are expected over the course of the weekend, including Yvon Lambert, who will be looking after the silent auction. Guy Lapointe and Pierre Bouchard, two more former Canadiens players, will also be there during the weekend.

Members of the eight lake associations on Lac Tremblant have been invited by Mr. Plouffe to a cocktail on Saturday at 5:00 pm. Tickets are available at $25 each. Many attractive prizes will be given away, with values of $500 and more.

A DJ will be there to animate the event. People can get more information about the Health Weekend by calling 819-717-1401.
